GAS/SPEC^* SS-4^* Specialty Amine

Description

GAS/SPEC SS-4 Specialty Amine is designed specifically for gas treating applications. This INEOS formulated MDEA (methyldiethanolamine) based product selectively removes H2S from gas streams, which also contain CO₂. Reduced pickup of CO₂ allows gas treating plants to process more gas or use less energy in existing equipment. GAS/SPEC SS-4 can be used at a 50% amine strength, which allows reduced amine circulation rates without the increased corrosion that may come with traditional amines.
