HOUSTON, TEXAS (September 5, 2001)-- The GAS/SPEC* technology division of Houston-based INEOS LLC is introducing a new capabilities brochure, a colorful 8 1/2 x 11² publication containing updated information on product, application and performance options. The brochure also includes an Amine Unit Process Evaluation Form, designed to assist customers in evaluating their companies' needs.

The GAS/SPEC group was formed in 1982 to service customer needs in gas treating plants in the natural gas processing, oil refining, ammonia production and chemical processing industries. Currently more than 200 customer plants operate on GAS/SPEC products worldwide GAS/SPEC products are methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) based formulations designed to maximize process performance. INEOS LLC also makes the ethanolamines which are used in gas treating.
